Images in the description on placemarks doesn't load because an asterisk
I'm trying to load images in the description on an placemark in Google Maps, I'm using this code, the kml file is right, but when I download and import it in my app, the images url contains an asterisk, and the app doesn't detect the full url to the image from there.

Looking for an offline map app with kmz import support
I have created a java lib https://github.com/k3b/k3b-geoHelper that already supports different geo-formats like kml and gpx . kmz is "kml in zip" file.
