Images in the description on placemarks doesn't load because an asterisk
I'm trying to load images in the description on an placemark in Google Maps, I'm using this code, the kml file is right, but when I download and import it in my app, the images url contains an asterisk, and the app doesn't detect the full url to the image from there.

- How long did it take you to adjust to a de-googled phone?... Big hurdles I am struggling with.

Any good roms for a poco f3?
Btw2: Privacy? Android 12 has a toggle to turn off camera and microphone... All the ROMs are good at privacy. But if you choose a non-google ROM (which I kinda don't recommend, Pixel ROMs are very good.), you can flash MicroG, which will give you Google services, but with a very few more things added or removed.

Google keeps stopping
I am sure a logcat of the error would be a good hint to get an idea of what's going on. You can search for the issue here. (Also check closed issues as it might be already solved)

Ever since I started using App Tracking Protection, I see Google secretly collects as many as 34 data including First name and Last name. I remember I had already opt out of everything in the Privacy setting. Every app that I use and open, Google will always be there to secretly do so.
You can also use MicroG on Android. It's an open-source Google Play Service substitute/emulator. It may not contain all the features Google has, but most apps will work just fine.
- Google releasing one last Pixel 3a and 3a XL update, arriving ‘by July’

Bypass MicroG Settings app and start MicroG Services Core via Tasker send intent
Without Signature Spoofing, microG won't work: https://github.com/microg/GmsCore/wiki/Signature-Spoofing

Use purchased version without Google
The licence is stored with Google, so licence verification requires their services. You'll find this problem with the vast majority of in-app purchases on Android If you're trying to avoid Google, given that they are the owners and developers of the OS. The closest you can get to de-googling your phone without losing access to your purchases is to use an alternative Google services implementation like microg https://microg.org/
What are some alternatives?
