I'm new at programming and this is my first website made in a programming language (Go)
For a more complicated setup, you can take a look at https://github.com/loov/watchrun/blob/master/examples/watchjs-templates/server.go, which also auto-reloads the page.

Embedding files for html/template, how to add Funcs?
To avoid the loadTemplates call. However, I would use an approach that lets you live-reload the new templates when ever they change -- helps to shorten the iteration time (e.g. one approach https://github.com/loov/watchrun/blob/master/examples/watchjs-templates/server.go).
