Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.

What is a good program that reads .desktop files and makes a DE-like application menu in the system tray. or as a window?
i use a couple of dmenu wrapper scripts for that exact purpose: dmenu_dpath - lists all the desktop entries dmenu_drun - uses dmenu_dpath to give and application menu These are .desktop equivalents to dmenu_path and dmenu_run given by dmenu
