I opened an issue on GitHub.

I have a Acer Predator Helios 300 PH315-54 and when I click the scan devices button my keyboard doest appear. I found some people online saying that this works but I have windows and not linux so idk what to do.

I use [Brillo](https://github.com/CameronNemo/brillo) on my laptop. It works quite intuitively.

add your user to video group and relogin. did you add polkit rule ? https://github.com/CameronNemo/brillo. you can try light or brightnessctl if it doesnt work.

I can recommend brillo for screen brightness management.
