I just the "1.0.0" stable version of Ganymede, a Twitch VOD and Live Stream archiving platform. Ganymede is a re-write in Golang of a previous project named Ceres.

Ceres - Archive Twitch VODs and Streams
Ceres is a web application that allows you to archive past VODs with a rendered chat, and now with the latest version, live stream support was added aswell. Alongside the video and chat render, all VOD/stream information is archived alongside a JSON file of the chat. Below is the folder layout for an archived stream. It is open and designed around the need of not needing Ceres to view the archived VOD.

2) Tools such as LiveStreamDVR or Ganymede. I personally use LiveStreamDVR primarily and have used Ganymede if I want to archive an entire channel with realtime chat and a theater-like video playback. The way I use LivestreamDVR is auto capturing the stream and once it ends edit the video how I want and export it to a YouTube channel that archives all of the person's vods. If you want a cleaner approach where everything is done for you I'd suggest Ganymede.
