Perhaps you can point out some of these vast improvements in the mod's commit history, which ends 16 months ago.

Z-Levels Beta It’s not really what I’d recommend for 1.3 which is the current version but the 1.2 is far more stable.

Z-Levels
The mod author is no longer updating the steam workshop version and has moved entirely to github. The github version hasn't been updated in almost a year. It sucks because its a feature I want in rimworld and im not a modder and therefore don't know how to just make it myself. One of the mod authors is very experienced with over 80 rimworld mods linked to his account so I would hope he wouldn't let a mod like this die.

What's a game that's worth every penny?
For people like us that prefer to explore and build without the thalassophobia, it's possible to modify the game files so creatures ignore you.
