If you dont have a modded 3ds then: https://youtu.be/ttHCJ1oFpDc trust me its importent First get a modded 3ds (or a new 3ds because it runs better) Second put your micro sd card on your computer or your sd reader Third: https://github.com/masterfeizz/Xash3DS/releases Forth: get the valve folder from half life (if you do not have half life then you can use uplink) and create a folder in your 3ds sd files named “xash3d” Fifth: remove config.cfg, video.cfg and opengl.cfg Sixth: get the cia into any folder Seventh: put the sd card into your 3ds Eighth:open fbi(a homebrew 3ds app) and search for the cia Open the application and wait for a bit and you get half life on 3ds

For Half-Life, did you copy the files correctly? You don't just copy the "valve" folder from your Steam version, but you also have to do some other stuff described here.

Half-life! First you need a hacked 3ds and also you need to own the game on steam, the just follow this guide https://github.com/masterfeizz/Xash3DS/releases/tag/v0.2 . It’s pretty straightforward actually, just move some files from a folder to another one.

you can dowload here create a folder "xash3d" on your 3ds sd card and copy the valve folder in there, then install xash3d.cia or .3dsx as usual. and before you do all of that, play half-life on pc please

Long story short, I don't think you'll have any luck finding a way to do it easily. If you have the techincal expertise you could write a port for it yourself, similar to what was done for the gold engine, but it'll be a looong term project.

Sonic Mania got decompiled, and then one smart guy (SaturnSH2x2) ported it to New 3DS. You can also play CD, 1 and 2 ports like this.
