Why are the window shadows so aggressive on Win32 compared to UWP?
Are you using WinUI 3 1.1 Preview 3 for the ? If so, this is likely a bug in WinUI 3 1.1 Preview 3. The bug is also found on WinUI 3 gallery, reported here. It is worth noting that it has nothing to do with win32 vs UWP.

Not sure if they have plans to support MAUI or not (there is an open issue asking about it), but they do support WPF today.
