Icon theme subfolder precedence
Using the WhiteSur icon theme, I noticed that when there are two different icons with the same name (keyboard.svg for example) in different subfolders (apps/scalable and devices/scalable in this case), and an icon is defined only by name in a .desktop file (as is normally the case), the system uses the icon from devices instead of using the one from apps, which I would expect since .desktop files are normally used for apps rather than devices. Looking at the Freedesktop Icon Theme Specification I found nothing regarding subfolder precedence. Is there a way to define which subfolders should be searched first within an icon theme when referencing an icon only by name in a .desktop file?

So I'm not familiar with GitHub like at all and I need help.
How do I download things form GitHub? There's no obvious download button to download anything. I wanted to download this but literally don't know how. I am also super new to Ubuntu and don't know anything.
