One Last Pastel-Themed Changeup to See iOS 16 Out (With Wallpapers)
I use Scriptable, more hands on than other options but has the customisability I was after. The exact script I'm using is a slightly modified weather-cal made by u/mzeryck
- My setup
- Rain forecast anyone ?!

Rate my widget
Made a widget that shows the weather using progress circles by combining https://github.com/mzeryck/Weather-Cal and https://gist.github.com/Normal-Tangerine8609/0c7101942b3886bafdc08c357b8d3f18.
- WeatherCal Rebuild?
- Weather Cal not working, says my API key is “invalid” (it’s been 4 weeks since I got the account, it should be set up now…)

Calendar access not granted
I’ve been using this code: https://github.com/mzeryck/Weather-Cal for about a year and I recently updated to IOS 16 and now I get this error. I’ve tried changing the access in my setting and nothing. Is there any way to fix this?

Sunrise function stopped working?
Hey everyone! I’m relatively new to Scriptable, and so far I have only used a couple of people’s scripts with minor tweaks. This is the script I am using right now: https://github.com/mzeryck/Weather-Cal/blob/main/weather-cal.js (for some reason it won’t let me hyperlink it). A couple of days ago the sunrise/sunset function (on the bottom right of my widget) just stopped working. My script doesn’t give me any errors so I have absolutely no idea why this is happening. Any help would be appreciated.

New here, maybe this is trash. But I like my setup!
Try this one as well as the transparent and blurred widget script.

Background
Yes you can but I think it’s not possible through widgy. You can use Scriptable app and this script made by u/mzeryck then create a transparent background for each widget.

Looking for updated “Transparent & Blurred Widgets” script
And thank you so much for your screenshot! I've updated the gist and the script with blur features. Let me know if it works as expected!

Help: Why does WeatherCal looks like this?
Thanks to all who tried to help me but I have to admit that I was a little stupid and I should’ve read the ReadMe file :| Basically what I had to do was downloading a script called Widget-Blur run it and then using Weather Cal to set the generated image from Widget Blur to the background. Just for those who might face the same issue.

It isn't much, but my new phone needed a new setup. 🌃
I used the Scriptable scripts Weather Cal along with the help of Widget Blur to make the bg transparent

iOS 14 home widget to show jisho.org word search result
Thank you very much! That's a great question!! Unfortunately there's not a direct way to make the widget transparent, but there is a "movie magic" way to do it, that many other Scriptable widget developers are using: You can crop a portion of your wallpaper and set that as the background to the widget, maybe with a blur, to give the illusion of it being translucent. I didn't really pursue this because I planned to use many instances of my widget, and each one would have to be tweaked very carefully to get the positioning correct. However, if it's something you really wanted, a bit of hacking could get you there I'm sure! The "Weather-Cal" widget that is included in the Scriptable gallery is an example of this. The author made the code he used for it portable here.
