I will buy my first VR ever
2 - VD (virtual Desktop) is one of the ways to play PCVR with the meta's VR, but not the only one, you can also use oculus link (which is meta's way to connect your quest with your pc either wireless or wired) or steam link which is pretty recent and is steams way to connect your headset. All of them have their perks and issues, the only one you need to pay for is VD and so far, as we test all 3 of them VD is the one that performs the best*.

Hi there, first I want to thank VHS Productions for the nice idea to play Superhot VR in Mixed Reality. I made a Tutrial and Gameplay video if you want to try and see it yourself. 1. You have to buy Virtual Desktop from the Meta Store https://www.meta.com/de-de/experiences/2017050365004772 2. You have to buy Superhot VR in the SteamVR PCVR version https://store.steampowered.com/app/617830/SUPERHOT\_VR 3. Download the Virtual Desktop Streamer app https://www.vrdesktop.net 4. Start the Virtual Desktop Streamer app on the PC, enter your Meta/Oculus account 5. Start Virtual Desktop on Quest 3, connect to PC (same network!) 6. Open the Virtual Desktop menu (menu button on the left controller) 7. Streaming - Enable “VR Passthrough”. 8. On "Configure", select color white, 50% Similarity, 10% Smoothness 9. This little portable app (300 kb) allows you to install APK into your Windows Subsystem for Android
Just use wsa_pacman instead
I use WSA Pacman for this. It’s not portable, but it can be installed through winget and associates .apk and .xapk with the application, so installs are as simple as double-clicking the apk download. It also comes with adb embedded, so there’s no need to also download the sdk platform tools.
