Cursed mod
A new Victoria 2 mod has arrived on the scene, and it is clearly superior to all other mods. I will take you through the experience of playing. In the menu you immediately realise that something is very, very wrong. All the buttons are off and there are ...strange graphical peculiarities. Once you press Single Player, it fully hits you just how cursed this mod is. ALL the rotations are off. The textures look ...deep-fried. The font is partially converted to comic sans. And the entire map is covered with eye-ache inducing pixels. When you hit play, things get even more absurd. The terrain is covered in dots and looks cancerous. The minimap has given up and fallen down. The topboard is doing the same. Newspapers, diplo and the text field are all rotated. Hitting escape to evade this madness is useless, even the menu is cursed. Next, you try clicking provinces, menus, diplo offers and even the pause button. All of them are rotated and deep-fried. You even notice the chungus hiding in the rank. Some of the troop models are also switched around. Events and decisions offer you no avail. But in the end, the most cursed thing about the mod is that it functions normally. It doesn't even change the checksum and is therefore compatible with other mods as is seen in the last picture (with Shattered World). Here's a link if you wish to experience this milestone of modding: https://github.com/s-williams/Victoria-2-Cursed PS: The mod creator is /u/swilliamsio, I am his co-dev.

Accidently turned the whole world gay
Serious answer tho: there's a savegame editor called Pdx-unlimiter: https://github.com/crschnick/pdx_unlimiter ... it's a bit low level but you should be able to edit game rules that way. It wouldn't fix any characters that already have their sexuality set, but it should fix the distribution for new characters. You could also go through and fix certain characters manually, like your player character and spouse, etc.

Keeping more autosaves - non-Ironman
If you care about keeping savegame backups organized, you can also try out the Pdx-Unlimiter, that might be a little bit more user friendly than a batch script.

How do you get your key binds to stick between crashes?
You don't have to crash the game to savescum. You can also pause and alt-tab out of the game and make copies of your save files and then exit normally. After exiting, you can overwrite your saves with the copies to continue from them. Or you can use savescumming helpers like https://github.com/crschnick/pdx_unlimiter

Nation Explorer - browse national ideas directly from the game files (early test release)

The Pdx-Unlimiter, a savegame manager and editor, now fully supports Stellaris!
For these reasons I have been working for quite some time on the Pdx-Unlimiter, which is a simple tool for creating and managing savegame checkpoints. It comes with the following main features:
-
saves aren't backing up
It seems like you should use the Pdx-Unlimiter if you care that much amount making backups
-
King Alfred’s Son Married Princess Rhaenyra from Bavaria
Use " -debug_mode" to get her id, then use a save editor like PDX Unlimiter to get the DNA string. For PDX Unlimiter you'll need to enter the id into the search box at the bottom then click on the living option and then edit the id and you should see the DNA. My description of it was pretty bad so if you don't get it just post the save and I'll grab the DNA from it real quick.
