JavaFX In Action with Christopher Schnick about XPipe, an app to manage all your servers
A tool for all major Paradox Grand Strategy games that provides a powerful and smart savegame manager to quickly organize and play all of your savegames with ease. Furthermore, it also comes with an Ironman converter, a powerful savegame editor, some savescumming tools, integrations for various other great community-made tools, and full support for multiple games. You can find it on GitHub.

Accidently turned the whole world gay
Serious answer tho: there's a savegame editor called Pdx-unlimiter: https://github.com/crschnick/pdx_unlimiter ... it's a bit low level but you should be able to edit game rules that way. It wouldn't fix any characters that already have their sexuality set, but it should fix the distribution for new characters. You could also go through and fix certain characters manually, like your player character and spouse, etc.

Keeping more autosaves - non-Ironman
If you care about keeping savegame backups organized, you can also try out the Pdx-Unlimiter, that might be a little bit more user friendly than a batch script.

How do you get your key binds to stick between crashes?
You don't have to crash the game to savescum. You can also pause and alt-tab out of the game and make copies of your save files and then exit normally. After exiting, you can overwrite your saves with the copies to continue from them. Or you can use savescumming helpers like https://github.com/crschnick/pdx_unlimiter
