I'd love to ditch EAQS because it is mostly incompatible to EquipMultipleUitilityItems and it looks like there's no intention to fix what I'm pretty sure is just a tiny code change away...

But you could use something like LuaMachine in Unreal or similar in Unity to sandbox by using a different scripting language.
