UIInfoSuite2 VS SMAPI-Mods

I don’t use better ranching personally because ui info suite dose the same and even more

says Stardew Valley Expanded is an empty folder... not installed correctly. Check the Wiki instructions here. UiInfoSuite has to be downloaded from github for the current version at https://github.com/Annosz/UIInfoSuite2

A lot of people swear by UIinfoSuite2 but the updated version is not on Nexus, it is at GitHub.

Moddrop is one of the sites recommended in the wiki and as far as I'm aware is generally considered safe. I generally get most mods from nexusmods but I do have one (UIinfosuite2) that I download directly from the github page.

UI Info Suite (has to be that version; Nexus version is outdated) gives more informative mouse-overs and displays icons near the top right corner for things you might easily forget, like birthdays, tomorrow's weather, whether the traveling merchant is in the valley at the moment, etc.

You need the unofficial update of UI Info Suite, which can be found here.

I’m not entirely sure if this is what you’re looking for, and I haven’t tried it out myself: Fishing mod. From what I can see, it has a few difficulty modifiers that you can apply. So maybe you can just make the fish a bit harder to catch?

The ones I'm familiar with are Zoryn's mods, and minervamaga/Eemie's mods.

The only complex thing about it is you have to change the config.json file (install the mod, run the game, then close the game and the config.json will appear) to make it work however you want. Here is the page that talks about the options. If you just want easier fishing, you can make EasierFishing say true and if you want change the FishDifficultyMultiplier to be less than 1 to be even easier. If you would rather just automatically catch the fish and treasures, set InstantCatchFish and InstantCatchTreasure to true. Save the file after you make your changes and you'll be good to go!

That sounds like Junimo Deposit Anywhere (download). It's just a bit hard to find since it's not uploaded to the modding sites.
