Make your fixed headers appear when the user scrolls up with scroll position and direction using Trig.js
As of v1.9.1 Trig.js has become feature complete for the smallest size which can be downloaded here (https://github.com/iDev-Games/Trig-JS/releases/tag/v1.9.1). From v2 up, I'm looking to try and open up scrolling to use in CSS and caring about size more than features. v2.1.3 creates classes on the document body of "trig-scroll-up", "trig-scroll-down", "trig-scroll-top", "trig-scroll-bottom", "trig-scroll-25", "trig-scroll-50" and "trig-scroll-75" depending on position and last scroll direction. Allows you to trigger your CSS like the example link. Download the latest version from here: https://github.com/iDev-Games/Trig-JS

ScrollMagic VS Trig-JS - a user suggested alternative
2 projects | 28 Mar 2023
Trig.js is a super simple and lightweight way of making CSS scroll animations that react to the position of your HTML elements. You can also use Trig.js to trigger CSS animations once an element appears on screen. Using nothing but the power of CSS, HTML and Trig.js. You can make the same effects as you see here: https://idev-games.github.io/Trig-JS/! Not just that, Trig.js is really lightweight with a filesize of less than 2kb! Trig.js is created with javascript and doesn't require any dependencies. Trig.js is really simple and quick to work with. You can use Trig.js even if you arn't familiar with javascript. Trig.js is the perfect solution for CSS scroll animations in any project by developers of any skill level for both light or heavy usage. Making it the perfect alternative to frameworks like scrollmagic or GSAP scrolltrigger for most of your website animation needs.

Scroll stopped working when using this custom smoothScroll hook
An old coworker made this custom hook using ashthornton/asscroll, now the problem is when I am using it on two page with difference layout container. It somehow stopped working when navigating to the other page unless I refresh it. Been working with chatGPT to solve and debug but still haven't got any clue, the co worker who made it also can't be contacted. I feel like asking at this subreddit is a great place since I am super stuck and my deadline is this Monday. Please help :')

Is this possible with webflow ?
That site is manually coded in React the animation is a canvas so it's pretty much some webgl mastery, they also use this library for scroll https://github.com/ashthornton/asscroll

What is commonly done with JS but can be done perfectly fine with just HTML and CSS?
Yikes. I feel bad for your company. You should introduce them to this https://github.com/ashthornton/asscroll when you resign. For their sake.

Stop-Scroll animation for title
You could just use the same library they used which is https://github.com/ashthornton/asscroll

Locomotive Scroll alternatives
Asscroll seems to be another fairly popular option: https://github.com/ashthornton/asscroll The scrollTrigger docs have an example of implementing it (as well as locomotive). I’ve only used locomotive myself but not on a Gatsby site.
What are some alternatives?
