Is it possible/straightforward to have a webserver baked in to an iOS app?
Right now I'm using https://github.com/envoy/Embassy. There's also https://github.com/envoy/Ambassador if you want an "HTTP Framework". These are more lightweight, but they might not be feature complete.
What are some alternatives?
Perfect - Server-side Swift. The Perfect core toolset and framework for Swift Developers. (For mobile back-end development, website and API development, and more…)
swifter - Tiny http server engine written in Swift programming language.
Restofire - Restofire is a protocol oriented networking client for Alamofire
Vapor - 💧 A server-side Swift HTTP web framework.
Zewo - Lightweight library for web server applications in Swift on macOS and Linux powered by coroutines.
Kitura - A Swift web framework and HTTP server.
Express - Swift Express is a simple, yet unopinionated web application server written in Swift
Taylor - A lightweight library for writing HTTP web servers with Swift
Noze.io - Evented I/O streams for Swift
Curassow - Swift HTTP server using the pre-fork worker model
