Sure, I have nvim and vim-lsp as my setup. https://github.com/tommd/configuration if you'd like. I believe vim-lsp works fine for vim too and not just neovim.

I didn't previously read the body and the note about hls. Like /u/t4ccer I use ghcup. My new-system script, which doesn't get updated very often, is here.
