Sure, I have nvim and vim-lsp as my setup. https://github.com/tommd/configuration if you'd like. I believe vim-lsp works fine for vim too and not just neovim.

How can I learn VIM workflow(besides actual VIM)
Sometimes you want 1 window temporarily big, vim provides :only or o but that closes the other windows in the tab. https://github.com/szw/vim-maximizer lets you toggle the maximisation.
