Difference between stock Marlin & Klipper w/ Pressure Advance
It was pretty easy to get working. Just have to load the built firmware.bin via the SD card, and adjust the z and extruder rotations per step. I also added a timeout parameter for the filament runout: https://circuitsetup.us/product/complete-time-circuits-display-kit/

Using Adafruit SSD1306 library on WeAct Black Pill
The solution was an alternative library (https://github.com/lexus2k/ssd1306) which I found through here. It just needed wired to the default pins. Got a lot more to do with the black pill, group project for a prototype ECG

Display Menu on SSD1306 OLED display and select options by using Buttons need to do in esp-idf.

What are some alternatives?
PCF8575_library - i2c 16bits digital expander with i2c digital expander for Arduino, Raspberry Pi Pico and rp2040 boards, esp32, SMT32 and ESP8266. Can read write digital values with only 2 wire. Very simple and encoder support. Uncommet NOT_SEQUENTIAL_PINOUT define to have pins like datasheet and not sequential one.
