Who would like something like endeavor os but based off of void
Or you could probably pretty easily make a dialog based menu for void and make something approaching an architect ncurses tui menu if you like that better. I used dialog in my void post-install in my dotfiles that was the first thing I ran post install, just baked in the dependency install to the first step to get dialog and git installed and it worked like a charm. Still there in the deprecated directory. [Have at it](https://github.com/Thomashighbaugh/dotfiles]

Help with saving configuration? Merry Xmas
Just write your own BASH script, or Makefile, for this purpose. Seems daunting, but its just entering commands you would put in the prompt into a file. Look through some dotfiles repos doing this here's mine, but I use Void Linux and its a tad broken atm and feel it out, but its the far easier to work with solution which with a dash of testing, is also the most likely to get you back to where you want to be when Linux does the inevitable and gives up at a critical juncture.
