TheOtherRoles VS MBINCompiler

These above me only need the host to have them installed while this one (TOR) need everyone to have them.

lol of course there are mods for this game. There are mods for most of the game you've ever played if you poke around in the community a little bit. Especially for super simple games like this that are both very popular and need the extra content because the devs certainly aren't making anything. The Other Roles, Town of Us, and Town of Host are all pretty easy to find, install, and understand.

Now open up the GitHub for the mods of your choice. I prefer The Other Roles but you do you, boo. On the GitHub scroll down to "Releases" and grab the latest one. Again, this won't work because the mods are incompatible with the current version of the game, but hopefully they update soon. (you can also manually force Steam to revert Among Us to the last public available game if you really want. Hide and Seek is dumb and modded roles are awesome, so it's worth the trade imo).

I personally use The Other Roles with my lobbies but I'm considering switching to Town of Us because they have a few different roles I'd like to try.

I have no clue if you're going to see this, but here we are. I had the same problem as you whenever I played Among Us with a bunch of friends, but I found out recently that the creator of TheOtherRoles (https://github.com/Eisbison/TheOtherRoles) made a second installer to not do the manual installation anymore.

Both current save editors (and prolly NMSC) uses MBINCompiler's save mapping to convert field names to human-readable strings. It's all space magic to me because I don't deal with this field but you can join the modding discord (link on sidebar) to get more info from people like monkeyman and DrKaii

I'm trying to edit some textures in the game to add custom decals but they're all cached. It wouldn't be a big deal as apparently you can just unpack the MBIN files, edit the entries and repackage them, however the MBIN compiler seen here just refuses to work for me. I have all of the .NET stuff installed but whenever I drag and drop an MBIN on it, it just does absolutely nothing. Could anyone tell me what could possibly be going wrong? Thanks.
