The-Vault
A 'Vault' to conatin and password-protect your most precious files. Uses AES encrytion and data URL's to give a sort of 'cloud' feel. All without a server, and totally secure! (by flancast90)

The number of mentions indicates the total number of mentions that we've tracked plus the number of user suggested alternatives.
Stars - the number of stars that a project has on GitHub. Growth - month over month growth in stars.
Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.
For example, an activity of 9.0 indicates that a project is amongst the top 10% of the most actively developed projects that we are tracking.

Open source PDF reader with encryption capabilities?
I'm not sure if it could be called a "PDF viewer" per-say, but I have a repo from a while back: https://github.com/flancast90/the-vault . It allows encryption via password protect on a case-by-case basis for each file.

I’m very knowledgeable regarding html/css but I have no eye for good design. I’m working on a PWA for my kids. Would love some suggestions https://sihflashcard.azurewebsites.net. It’s only designed to work in landscape mode. If you could help with some design suggestions I should be able to implement your suggestions on my own. FYI I’m planning to show this app to my daughters school after I add more functionality and make it look nice. I will never charge or add any ads. License is OSS as well.
