Fix shutdown-restart according to post install guide on Dortania? Or create manual SSDTs?
So I've previously only had this annoying 'restarts when you try to shutdown' problem many years ago on a Clover based build and IIRC a Clover update auto-magically fixed it. For Opencore I've found what seem to be good guides on Dortania and Koal166's TLDR guide which is much easier to understand.
- Manual DSDT instead of prebuilt and shutdown issues

Shutdown not working, multiple AHCI paths
Hello gang, I'm putting the finishing touches on my first hackintosh in a long time, and for the most part everything has gone much better than expected! I'm just tidying up a few loose ends, and one that has been eluding me has been that shutdown restarts the machine instead of actually shutting it down. The Opencore guide has a section on this but it isn't very detailed, this Github guide by Koala166 is a lot more helpful, but I still got stuck. Basically, my USB Controller has two AHCI paths, and I can't figure out how to deal with that. The GitHub guide suggests that I can duplicate the code block in the fixshutdown aml, but doing that leads to a compiler error, and I can't find any guides or forum posts or anything that mention a device having multiple AHCI paths.

HP 250 G8 macOS Monterey 12.3 restarts at shutdown
OK, I managed to figure out what I was supposed to do, and fixed the issue. I have also created a guide for anyone who's interested.

Hackintosh v3 upgrade to OpenCore complete! i7-9700k + Radeon 5700 XT dual booting macOS Big Sur and Windows 10.
For anyone that's interested (or used my old Clover build guide), I documented the entire installation process in detail here: https://github.com/shiruken/hackintosh. It closely follows Dortania's OpenCore Install Guide.
