I want to fucking destroy the YouTube ads on Android.
No google account necessary. You can download and convert videos in the app. Subscriptions are saved locally. No ads. There is a fork of the app with sponsorblock as well https://github.com/Taregnaeem/SkipTube.

youtube vanced is dead a good replacement?
Newpipe with Sponsorblock is soild at playing videos, but hasn't integrated with Google services, meaning you can't log in and view your subscriptions.

So I decided to look for a more practical solution, where I don't have to update or change the filters all the time. I registered at piped And I use the Libretube android app

hopefully they'll lay off the ads since so many users suddenly can't use ad blockers, but I don't think they will. uBlock origin still seems to work fine.
