Twitch Ads on Tor?
TTV.LOL is apparently the program that it uses to block ads. You can find their official site here and their source code is here.

Now getting "Commercial break in progress" on Twitch
I can't speak for everyone, but as of now (11-19-21) the TTV-LOL extension for Firefox is successfully blocking ads for me. If this changes, I'll endeavor to update/remove this post.

Anyone getting "commercial break in progress" screens in VLC while watching twitch as of today?
If you'd like a truly ad-free experience with no interruptions, it seems the only option is using a proxy to get a playlist from a country where Twitch doesn't serve ads. TTV.LOL can facilitate this. It's probably even possible for someone to modify Streamlink's Twitch plugin to make use of TTV.LOL's API to get an ad-free playlist in Streamlink, but I'm not a programmer, so I wouldn't know how to do that. I can't imagine it'd be very difficult however.

- What's the most current adblocker? Was using Twitch Adblock extension which worked fine, doesn't seem to be working as of recently.

Amazon Prime Video Will Start Showing Ads on January 29
There are tampermonkey script(s) and ublock filter scripts that swap out the advert video with the live broadcast video (but in low res) - i have lived with that for now, esp. since i watch esports on twitch, and it sucks that i would have missed key moments of a game when an ad plays during it!

I use the scripts (https://github.com/pixeltris/TwitchAdSolutions#scripts) instead of the proxy solution, as i dont want to rely on a third party server to be working.

Twitch is not enjoybale anymore due to ads
I run ads before the broadcast starts on a 5 minute "starting soon" stream" and encourage viewers to block ads with an !ads command. Look here: https://github.com/pixeltris/TwitchAdSolutions

Does uBlock Origin (uBO) currently bypass YouTube's adblock detection?
Actually the modern vaft script can completely bypass ads and has seen minimal changes for well over a year. Twitch gave up because most people, even the tech savvy ones, don't know about the solutions anymore.
