Trying to port Typescript code that's has generic Typed Arrays to Rust
So I'm working on porting one of my Typescript libraries to Rust (an implementation of the Glk API). One part of the API concerns "streams", which are really more like read/write buffers. They can be either 8 bit or 32 bit. In Typescript I have this type alias and then functions that accept them like this example:
