Datasets
For TC precipitation, there are a lot of different ways you can go, but if you’re looking for a relatively long dataset that is also gridded, then I’d recommend TCPDat from Bregy et al. The estimates are a bit conservative, but it’s a lot easier than going through individual rain gauge datasets and cross-checking it with hurricanes to get the TCP data.
