Can you help me with translation?
Get Switch Toolbox > Put the Zs Dictionary file into the Toolbox's Lib folder (Toolbox-Latest\Lib)

Can someone explain how to use totk.zstdtool I want to edit some textures
What would you like to know? It basically decompresses .zs files into a simpler file type, and with the simpler file type you can use Switch Toolbox to browse the contents of the file. You cannot do that with the .zs type.

Splatoon 3 OST Rip
Sure, I can send you the model folder in dm's, but you have to open them using switch toolbox: https://github.com/KillzXGaming/Switch-Toolbox/releases

I made a 4k render of Badminton's Ice Cream Volley
First, I use nxdumptool to export the game & update's assets, or romfs, to the SD card. I then used Switch Toolbox to export the models, textures, and animations that I want.

How many of you are programmers outside modding?
Earlier this year I had no choice to make use of Switch Toolbox for example in the process of putting together this texture pack for Pokemon Legends Arceus

Animal Crossing: New Horizons audio rip help?
You'll need a homebrew app called nxdumptool to dump the romfs, and maybe something like switch toolbox or something.

Found some images still in the game's files from early in development!
There's still some more unused content I've found, but I'll most likely compile those in a separate post. Before I end, I'll give thanks to Switch Toolbox for making ripping a lot easier than it would have been.

How many of you are programmers outside modding?
A great counter example of your argument is Synthesis and Mutagen, they absolutely crush xEdit's patchers in performance, often completely loading, parsing, patching and saving an entire Skyrim load order in less than a second. And they do this via modern concepts of flyweight views, "copy on mutation" semantics, and scatter/gather multithreading. Likewise you need go no further than compare the code of BSArch with that of Wabbajack's BSA routines to see drastically cleaner code in C# that even *performs faster*.
What are some alternatives?
When comparing Switch-Toolbox and xedit-lib you can also consider the following projects:
XCI-Explorer - View contents of XCI files and more!
LGenerics - Generic algorithms and data structures for Lazarus/Free Pascal
wabbajack - An automated Modlist installer for various games.
dbi - Author is duckbill
Ryujinx - Experimental Nintendo Switch Emulator written in C#
aria2 - aria2 is a lightweight multi-protocol & multi-source, cross platform download utility operated in command-line. It supports HTTP/HTTPS, FTP, SFTP, BitTorrent and Metalink.
nxdumptool - Generates XCI/NSP/HFS0/ExeFS/RomFS/Certificate/Ticket dumps from Nintendo Switch gamecards and installed SD/eMMC titles.
