String-Parser VS RealmsHub

Currently, one of the things I’m using the suso.str is to get the translated (localised) names of items from an item frame. This is done partially with command blocks and partially with datapacks for reasons I’ll try to explain below:

In Java you can use this datapack to get the current time out of a player head and set the difficulty accordingly.

reading out strings, cutting them apart and analyzing them? while technically possible, it's horribly laggy resource intensive. Also not really inteded, (ab)using some bugs and such.

The community coined term for this is "string parsing" and the most up-to-date explanation is probably inside this repository: https://github.com/5uso/String-Parser you can use this technology to either parse the output string of a commandblock (which includes the current server timestamp) or to dissect a player head's texture, which is encoded in base64 and includes a unix timestamp as to when it was requested from the skin server.

To add: There already a bunch of scattered datapacks that try to provide some functionality in a sort of library-way. Some are not updated anymore, some are. The ones that I know of that come to mind would be AESTD, MinecraftPhi or this much more specialised string parser.

Unfortunately Java realms doesn't have "invite with link" functionality, only Bedrock does. Maybe https://realmshub.com will have something similar in the future though.

These are the moments where I wish I got around to updating https://realmshub.com to include bedrock already, but unfortunately I haven't.

you can try to check https://realmshub.com to see whether it's in the list or not. If it is, Minecraft is bugging. If it's not, you're not invited anymore (or the servers are down, but the former is more likely).

That's one of the moments that I wish I already finished the bedrock side of https://realmshub.com, but alas I haven't.

However, if you're tech savvy, there is a Realms API that you could use to automatically change the world settings on a timer. I'm using that same API for https://realmshub.com and it works great. Btw, the host can use that page, too, if you're on Java and they don't want to log in 2 times per week to change the difficulty.

You can try to use https://realmshub.com, it lets you see and accept your invites as well as lists all the realms you're invited to.

I'm already working on an update to https://realmshub.com that will include bedrock edition. Maybe that can at least ease the load a bit.

Alternatively you can use this website I made: https://realmshub.com. they could accept the invite that way and then it should show up in-game just fine (most of the time lol)
