anyone successfully run stlvault under linux?
I know that "officially" stlvault - https://github.com/rubenwe/StlVault/releases - isn't available for linux yet, but... I can get the windows version to run under wine with one ... ahem... small exception. When I click to select a directory, it pulls up the directory select dialog; I select a directory; and click [open]. From there, I cannot click anything in the stlvault interface except for the 'X' to close the program. Then it pops up a dialog that says "just a moment" or something before shutting down. Obviously the program itself isn't locking up, per se, but something is causing it to hang. Has anyone had any success in getting this to run under linux and if so, how!? I really need to get this (or some similar) program working!

I was sent to you on a Quest
I searched the unraid "app store" and this popped up https://github.com/Floppy/van_dam

Anything you wish there was an open source solution for?
Not sure when you last checked on VanDAM. It's what I use and as a single-user tool for organizing my (pretty big) model collection it's been great.

VanDAM might fit what you're looking for.

How do ya'll organize what you want to print first and prioritize
For organising, I’ve made a whole self hosted app called VanDAM: https://github.com/Floppy/van_dam

Re: A self-hosted stl library, like Thingiverse/Cults/Thangs etc
I did some digging and found "van_dam" on Github.

I’m writing my own self-hosted 3d file library server, and it’s all gone a bit synthwave...
It’s open source, at https://github.com/floppy/van_dam. It’s built in Rails 6, with three.js for the rendering. I’ve got a huge feature list in my head, but it’s already pretty handy. You can create multiple libraries, which are automatically scanned for models, and each model (which is basically a folder) contains parts (which are the individual STL or OBJ files). It’ll be distributed as a docker container, which hopefully I can get out there for testing soon.
