StarWarsFFG VS FFGNDS-Discord-Dice-Roller

I learned the basics from Encounter Library. The set of learn to videos for Foundry starts from a fresh install and though it's D&D centric goes through the basics in easy to digest segments. After this I dove into the github and took what I wanted from there. I expanded my searching to solve specific problems which came up to create my method.

I did the same! If you’re like me and don’t want to fuss about trying to self host, just go for the forge, it’s pretty streamlined - you just have to select the star wars ffg module from a list, click install, add any modules (mods - like nice 3d dice rollers etc) and that’s that! You get a link you just send to your friends, and you make user accounts for them and set their permissions, which is quite cool, so they can see certain things, can’t see other things. You’ll get used to it. The only headache for me was loading up all of the items, species, characters, weapons, ships, talents and everything else from the Star Wars Adversaries siteSW Adversaries as there was some issue, but it’s documented on here: SWRPG Github

Read the wiki here. You're able to import your data from oggdude. You need to manually fill out the text on the oggdude Data Editor. Legally, it can't be provided so that's the only option that doesn't involve piracy.

There's already a handy "roll critical injuries from table" macro on the Foundry SWRPG wiki.

Check the wiki. It's a pretty simple process. You download the whole SWA zip, and it's just a few clicks to get all the data into your world.

You can customize the skill list by importing a json file. If you head over to https://github.com/StarWarsFoundryVTT/StarWarsFFG/wiki for instructions, and hop in the discord if you have any questions, the devs for this system are very responsive!

Maybe try Discord? Think there's a plug in dice roller for it too.

Roll20 has two sheets for FFG SWRPG, one is free but very simple and doesn't do dice rolls properly, the other you need a pro-tier account† but it handles the narrative dice. However, if you're playing online you're probably already using discord for voice chat, and there's a discord dice bot that does dice rolls for you in discord.
