I‘ve done something like this with the starship prompt. I have the config on my github, if you want to grab it. It‘s a bit messy, I hope thats ok.

Terminal not launching in bspwn
You launch it like any other program. It looks like that bspwmrc has a line for it. Did you add this line https://github.com/VaughnValle/blue-sky/blob/aafbdd1e483f5b83ea1c5bb75330d319b57a0cdd/bspwm/bspwmrc#L4
