Thinking about switching from macOS to Linux
You can get a Handoff like behaviour on Linux, but only on Android. IOS is very restrictive, and so KDE connect (that can offer much more than IOS's handoff can) while somewhat useable (if you can get it to run). On android it offers quite a few things I wish I had on IOS, like remote capability, and a your-phone-is-your-mouse kind of awesomeness.
