How to only show images/videos from a specific folder
Hello! I am currently learning Kotlin/Java and I was wondering how could you edit this gallery to only show images/videos from a specific folder Here is the link: https://github.com/SimpleMobileTools/Simple-Gallery Thanks for reading!

Gallery editor apply function?
the advanced editor is not open source, so it cannot be added on f-droid. It is available only via Google Play or get the proprietary app variant from Github at https://github.com/SimpleMobileTools/Simple-Gallery/releases

Sony photo gallery
If you are going to break that habit, and I'd sincerely encourage you to do so, try out Simple Gallery. It can do a lot more than Sony Gallery, is open source (meaning free, no malicious code in any way and getting updates) and you can effectively report bugs if you encounter any.

Which Android apps have you purchased and are worth every penny?
You can download Simple Gallery Pro from their GitHub for free. If you like it, you can donate or pay for it on the Play Store.

The developer of Simple Tools is an absolute scumbag.
I'm not seeing a similar issue posted on Github. I agree this is frustrating. I've tried different photo gallery app and storage solutions but unfortunately always come back to Google Photos. It's really good. I'm hopeful that PhotoPrism will offer a competitive hosted solution soon with a reasonably priced family plan.

Librum: Open-Source e-book platform
I've been rather happy with Librera, although when reading foreign languages, I prefer KOReader for its locally installed dictionary lookups (you have to add them). Note that these are both reader software, first, and not advanced library management packages (as far as I know).
The last I checked, Librera also had two versions on the Play store, with the paid pro (or whatever) version sending a few dollars towards the Ukrainian developer. Who's been donating to the defense efforts since the war started. Or was; that language now appears to be gone from the web site.
Anyway, for those not familiar with FDroid and/or who want to contribute to development other that via PayPal -- or, looks like now that would be Patreon.

For those who asked: Humble Bundle is another source of DRM-free ebooks.

Accessibility barriers with Kindle leave me wanting DRM-free books to read. Can anyone recommend authors who have their work available through something that isn't Kindle? I'm more than willing to pay for books.
On Android, the text-to-speech I find is better with https://librera.mobi/

I finally tried librera and i have questions
Looks like it has been suggested at least once on GitHub. Maybe give a +1 to that issue to show interest?
