I bought Simple Contacts Pro, it's great but it has enough papercuts to where I went back to True Phone. Here are my bug reports:

Cant import .vcf file in contacts app
That's weird, does it work when using another contacts app such as Simple Contacts?
- Bought Simple Contacts Pro, but had to uninstall it.

Release 1.1.1 is out
Fastestn way for now is to extract the apk from the zip files in your phone. You can also directly install an app that's already installed but I'm not sure if it's going to work if you installed it from the Play Store. Apk files are also available here but you need to be on a pc and logged in github to see them
