It's foolish to think open source isn't possible on Android.
Trakt: Episodes for series (still needs some work for an enjoyable experience). Nekome can be used for anime and manga if you trust Kitsu. CineLog and Movie DB can both act as a database where you save movies or look up other movies, but they aren't actively developed and lack organization features. This is where SeriesGuide comes into play. It isn't on F-Droid and "tracks or reports your" activity but it can help you group and organize your series and movies. It has also premium features that require a monthly subscription.
- Any good privacy-friendly movie tracker app out there?

Librum: Open-Source e-book platform
I've been rather happy with Librera, although when reading foreign languages, I prefer KOReader for its locally installed dictionary lookups (you have to add them). Note that these are both reader software, first, and not advanced library management packages (as far as I know).
The last I checked, Librera also had two versions on the Play store, with the paid pro (or whatever) version sending a few dollars towards the Ukrainian developer. Who's been donating to the defense efforts since the war started. Or was; that language now appears to be gone from the web site.
Anyway, for those not familiar with FDroid and/or who want to contribute to development other that via PayPal -- or, looks like now that would be Patreon.

Accessibility barriers with Kindle leave me wanting DRM-free books to read. Can anyone recommend authors who have their work available through something that isn't Kindle? I'm more than willing to pay for books.

I finally tried librera and i have questions
Looks like it has been suggested at least once on GitHub. Maybe give a +1 to that issue to show interest?
