SMAPI VS StardewValleyExpanded

I already looked at all the basic troubleshooting plus the steps recommended on smapi.io log parser, but I am still having the red error messages.

So turns out the strict-mode smapi is a separate installer, it's on nexus below the regular version. Either download the regular version from nexus (the first file at the top) or the version from smapi.io, they're the same. You're welcome!

Also just for easy reference, here is the link to the instructions for installing SMAPI (the framework upon which all of Stardew modding exists, pretty much).

Alright, looks like this is a Content Patcher mod, so there's a couple things to install first. I'm not sure how much the video walked you through. First, install SMAPI. This is used for pretty much all stardew mods I know of, so you may have already done this. https://smapi.io/ Then, install Content Patcher, by dropping the unzipped file into your Stardew Valley/Mods folder (there's install instructions on the page for SMAPI and CP). https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/1915 Then, download the mod(s) you want. Unzip them if needed and put the folders in Stardew Valley/Mods. Make sure you changed the game client on Steam to SMAPI, I think the install wizard tells you how to do it, or look at step 5 here: https://stardewvalleywiki.com/Modding:Installing_SMAPI_on_Windows Then everything should be working!

So download SVE one more time. It looks like you're playing in Russian, so give this translation a try. It should be recent enough that you won't have that issue.

Honestly I originally looked at the instructions and it seemed very confusing, but it's not as bad as it seems. This GitHub instruction set is a good step by step.

pray for me, because I am jumping headfirst into a modded Stardew Valley. the main ones are Stardew Valley Expanded and Ridgeside Village, but I've got some other minor ones, like one that fucks with the time (I made the day last longer), two things to make the Greenhouse even better (can install sprinklers and make it bigger), a better cellar, more backpack upgrades, a cooking and luck skill, a way to prestige the skills and make it so I can have all professions, and a way to harvest shit with scythes .

From the errors you're providing, it sounds like it's not loading the Required dependency mods (if you go to the Stardew Valley Expanded page and expand the "Required" accordion, you can see them all). So if you have then, they're either in the wrong directory, or you're still missing some. At least with the Vortex client, you don't have to manage your own mod directories if you still have your Bambi legs.

You can't use Grandpa's Farm and Grampleton Fields without installing Stardew Valley Expanded here and its required mods. If you downloaded it, make sure the folder doesn't have numbers after the name as in Stardew Valley Expanded_12345678, this would be a wrapper folder, look inside it for the actual mod.
