Problem with overwolf
I have no experience with Porofessor, but on Linux the most used software for this is Runebook, as far as I can tell. It runs natively, outside of your wine prefix. You point it to your installation inside your wine prefix and it should just work.

- Is there a way to install Blitz.gg on Linux?

Blitz.gg alternative for linux
I was looking around for an Blitz.gg alternative since the newest versions are no longer working via Lutris/Wine. So I was looking around Github and found this repo: https://github.com/Soundofdarkness/RuneBook It supports different sources but misses the auto lane detection like in Blitz. Maybe its useful for someone that also looks for an alternative.
- I need an alternative for overwolf
- Rune Pages still being sold for 6300BE per page feels expensive for no absolute reason
-
Better software for runes
There is nothing better than RuneBook. Save your own pages or get them from multiple sources (opgg, lolalytics, ugg...)

Is there a way to prevent my settings from being reset every patch?
I used to have that happen to me but it just somehow got fixed one day thankfully, however, i used this app https://github.com/NoudH/timewinder and it helped a bunch, makes auto backups of your settings and updates them if they reset including thinks like skin selection and all, if you care about rune pages there are also other apps on github for that.
