I have found my people. Sos full stack Bootcamp student.
Hey! Former bootcamp student here. What I learned is that medication like Adderal, Vyvance, Ritalin, etc, doesn't help with learning because learning is a slow process. You have to chew through things to understand them and take breaks to let your brain consolidate new information. The beginning of a bootcamp is always the hardest, but after a while you figure out what routine/habits/learning style/etc works for you. Additionally, after getting the hang of Javascript basics, things usually get easier. (sidenote - RunJS is a great tool to use to learn)

Getting Node to work in VSCode integrated terminal
OK, I see. My machine has node v12.22.9 installed, probably since I installed it from apt. I downloaded 18.12.1 from the site above, but alas, I do not know how to install it. I'll have to read the docs it seems. It will be helpful to learn as I've tried to install runjs on my Ubuntu laptop, but I can't figure how as it seems I have to install it from binaries also (which I have no idea how to).

Improve your productivity by using more terminal and less mouse (π).
If you are not using oh-my-zsh, you are missing out on some amazing plugins. One feature most people wish the terminal had is autocompletion. With the zsh-autosuggestions plugin, your terminal will autocomplete most commands and remember previous ones.

Terminal commands I use as a frontend developer
Thatβs the minimum terminal setup. You can modify the look and add plugins such as autocompletion to your terminal by installing ohmyzsh and using themes such as powerlevel10k. I am already using them.

Zshell
Somewhat related is "Oh My ZSH!" which is basically zsh on steroids, it's always one of the first things I install on a new computer. It gives things like new colors, themes, plugins, and more. Highly recommend you check it out.

Weird Color Stuff In The Terminal
I had just gone through a fun tutorial for setting up oh-my-zsh with a nice color scheme from iterm2colorschemes.com and a decent prompt and I was wondering: can I make my oblique strategy look nice? how can you actually use the colors from your scheme in the output in your cli?
