Ring Video Doorbell Pro two way communication?
From what I know, I don't believe there's a way to establish a proper VoIP connection aside from the Ring app itself. The following links are neat if you haven't found them already but probably not what you're after, u/spornerama. It's a from python library but it seems the ring doorbells can be accessed via HTTP methods: https://github.com/dgreif/ring/wiki/SIP-Communication. Also see this .net library https://github.com/KoenZomers/RingApi.

Rich Hickey – open-source is Not About You
If you're not familiar with lisps in general, it might be hard to grok the differences between lisp-macros (as used in Clojure) and "normal" macros you see in other languages.
But, if you are familiar already, and just wanna see examples of neat macros that makes the API nicer than what a function could provide, here are a few:
- https://github.com/ptaoussanis/timbre
What are some alternatives?
ring - Unofficial packages for Ring Doorbells, Cameras, Alarm System, and Smart Lighting
yesql - A Clojure library for using SQL.
git-of-theseus - Analyze how a Git repo grows over time
next-jdbc - A modern low-level Clojure wrapper for JDBC-based access to databases.
timbre - Pure Clojure/Script logging library
http-cron - Service / Clojure library to POST to HTTP endpoints at regular intervals
chime - A really lightweight Clojure scheduler
clj-http - An idiomatic clojure http client wrapping the apache client. Officially supported version.
shadow-cljs - ClojureScript compilation made easy
ring-jetty9-adapter - An enhanced version of jetty adapter for ring, with additional features like websockets, http/2 and http/3
ts-macros - A typescript transformer / plugin that allows you to write macros for typescript!
ring-defaults - A library to provide sensible Ring middleware defaults
