RiiConnect24-Patcher VS HOOBS

(A SD Card, any computer that has windows 10 or 11, any DLC wad file, and RiiConnect24 Patcher download it here) i forgot to say it needs to be on the SD card but yeah

So to open the patcher (The link to get it is here (https://github.com/RiiConnect24/RiiConnect24-Patcher/releases) You are going to need terminal open and Homebrew installed, to install it, just look up Homebrew on google and when you are at the website you should see a code you can copy, go into terminal and paste it in and install it, after that, go back into terminal and type "brew install xdelta". once you have installed that go back into terminal once again and type sh, then grab your patch file and drag it into the terminal and press enter. Make sure your sd card is in before you do this. After, you should see the installer, press 1, then select your device, then press 1 again, choose your type of install then you should see an install screen. Once it is installed, eject your sd card and put it into your Wii. Go to your WAD manager and install iOS 80 and 31 if you dont yet have them, then if you chose express, you can download things like Check Mii out or everybody votes, and boom! Riiconnect24 should be installed with the working channels! If it is not working make sure it was fully installed or the iOS is installed.

If you don't have the game disk that supports online mulitplayer, then download this to patch your wbfs and put in your WBFS usb and put it in WiiBackup Maniger ir WBFS maniger and that's it

I am super green when it comes to linux and all the commands. I tried running commands one by one from this script https://github.com/hoobs-org/HOOBS/blob/main/scripts/pihole-hoobs.sh But i am getting stuck pretty much in the beginning with this: hoobs@hoobs:~ $ rm -rf /etc/profile rm: cannot remove '/etc/profile': Permission denied

I had the same problem, repeatedly. I tried removing and re-added the bridge, clearing the refresh token manually, etc., to no avail. The only thing I found that worked was just to update the whole install, as suggested here: https://github.com/hoobs-org/HOOBS/issues/1614

I dont think you're supposed to go to hoobs.org. The page looks just like the one you're supposed to go to but it is not the same. That is a possibility why your whole shabang didnt show up.

So I downloaded the latest image from https://github.com/hoobs-org/HOOBS/releases which states 4.1 and that it is based on Bullseye. However my version shows as 4.0.71 and still says it’s on Buster. What happened? Had the link not been updated? How do I now get to 4.1/Bullseye without re flashing an image?

I found this issue in github where it says it would "run". But would it actually work?
