I wonder if this https://github.com/JakobPCoder/ReshadeMotionEstimation works? Optical flow will make this dlss 3, although with probably more artifacts. Maybe not really useful for VR. I mean if they got the motion vectors down.

Have you checked this guy gtao from martymc immersive for reshade,looks really good but problem is it goes throw smoke,fog stuff but he said the developers are free to use it ingame engine to avoid going throw smoke effects and looks more accurate than hbao.
