Setting up an SSH tunnel
Or does this: https://gitlab.com/Remmina/Remmina/-/issues/2915 mean what I want is NOT possible?
- Microsoft wants to move Windows fully to the cloud
-
Allow to freely position the navigation bar
Perhaps this issue addresses your concern? In fullscreen mode the toolbar only locks to the top or bottom, but in a non-fullscreen maximized window the toolbar can also be set to the left or right.

Remmina Breaks everytime that snap updates?
This is a known issue with the Remmina snap package. You can find more info about it here. Hopefully we'll have this issue resolved soon so in the next release or two it will no longer be a problem

Do you plan on releasing hidpi version?
Are you talking about Remmina local icons or remote desktop/server content? HiDPI support is not currently available across all linux desktop environments. The better desktop supporting HiDPI is currently KDE Plasma. For XFCE try to see here https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/HiDPI#Xfce There are plans to improve and standardize HiDPI support in various linux destkop communities. With fractional scaling too. But we will only see a standard implementation in no less than 3-5 years and not for Xorg. Only for wayland. See this: https://gitlab.com/Remmina/Remmina/-/wikis/Problems-and-tweaks/Remmina-RDP-and-HiDPI-scaling

Ah okay you're using PipeWire, I haven't used it myself so I've done some searching and found this issue from three months ago

True fractional scaling in Gnome/GTK?
I'm not 100% versed in the technical details of how all parts interact, but I was specifically referring to the Remmina wiki page that claims it's impossible to fix under Gnome with gtk 3/4 for both integer and fractional scaling cases.

How to install 535 nvidia driver on Fedora 39?
Also quick shoutout to Btrfs Assistant (also available from on Fedora's own repo). Its a GUI method of making/restoring snapshots. My new workflow is to use this to take a snapshot before upgrading any nvidia driver so that I can easily restore if needed. Sadly the issues this time were more subtle and a few days passed before I figured out that this is linked to the latest nvidia drivers, so I had to manually downgrade anyway.
- Really no easy GUI Btrfs snapshots for Fedora 38?
-
How hands on is a btrfs + snapper install?
Use this GUI: https://gitlab.com/btrfs-assistant/btrfs-assistant with snapper. Very easy I'd say.
- Timeshift problem
- Install size seems very large (around 1tb)
-
Is there a tool that shows history of a specific file?
We implemented this in Btrfs-Assistant https://gitlab.com/btrfs-assistant/btrfs-assistant
