  • Also quick shoutout to Btrfs Assistant (also available from on Fedora's own repo). Its a GUI method of making/restoring snapshots. My new workflow is to use this to take a snapshot before upgrading any nvidia driver so that I can easily restore if needed. Sadly the issues this time were more subtle and a few days passed before I figured out that this is linked to the latest nvidia drivers, so I had to manually downgrade anyway.
