Just a bit of tracked fun on the desk.
The light controller I’m using is very customizable. Laneboysrc is the maker. You can find videos from him on youtube and the plans are free on his github. I wasn’t able to build it myself so I emailed him and he sold me some. I opted for the MK4P model since it doesn’t require leds to be soldered to the board. You still have to solder up your own leds for max brightness since presoldered ones always have resistors built in and the controller doesn’t need resistors on leds.

A good 1/10 scale crawler?
For light kits, I recommend taking a look at the Lane Boys RC light kit. If you're at all skilled with that stuff, you can make it yourself. If you'd rather skip ahead to just having the kit, the dude usually has some built units on hand. Here's the main manual.

LED control?
I'm using the laneboysrc light controller. The plans to build it are free on github if you want to build it yourself. If you're like me and don't know how to do that, the guy sells them complete as well, you just need to email him. Here is a video featuring it.

It’s FRIDAY!!!!
All of the lights are controlled by laneboysrc light controller.

Happy Friday Everyone!
For the entire build I used 3mm LEDs as well as a light controller from laneboysrc.

Gotta still be Friday somewhere!
It’s a homemade kit using the laneboysrc light controller. I soldered up and mounted all the leds myself. The lights are controlled with the controller by the channel 3 button on my gt5.

Light controller with Tegu ESC
Laneboysrc light controller is what I'm using in my C10 with a Tegu. I really like my setup. The only problem with it is that it's not really plug and play. I had to learn how to solder LEDs and crimp connectors to wires. Not hard to do but it wasn't something that I knew how to do when I started. I can say that I'm feeling pretty confident about both skills now though.

So I think my truckbed mod might finally be done!
However, I used a light controller by laneboysrc. His light controller is by far the most customizable that I’ve seen. He’s based in Singapore and can ship you one premade for a small fee - it cost me WAY less than what some other people are asking for their light controllers. He offers the plans and program for free on his github page if you want to build it yourself too.
