I'm unsure if this is the right platform to ask this question, but I'm curious about the distinction between YouTube and Twitch ads. Specifically, what factors contribute to the challenge of blocking Twitch ads compared to those on YouTube?
Cause of twitch using a funky way to show ads on it site that ublock can't seem to detect i use Purple-adblock to block ads from twitch. it's actively maintained and works like a charm every time for me

Twitch ads started coming back today for me. waiting for update i guess
Apparently, i have problems with that version and installed the 2.5.0.9 with tampermonkey extension. You have to refresh the page and not reseting the player. Works fine, having no issues atm.

Popular "Video Ad-Block, for Twitch" Extension with 600k users, has removed the source code from GitHub and completely privatized it. The latest update requires new permissions to "read and change your data on all amazon.co.uk sites" adding ""aradb-21" as a referral tag to product URLs.
I've used Purple Adblock from pixeltris' TwitchAdSolutions for months and haven't had a single purple screen/ad since Twitch started this bullshittery. Though, I can't speak for Chrome, I'm a Firefox user.

Had to downgrade internet due to inflation, and now I can't use BTTV or 7TV because it lags my browser Sadeg -1 spammer OMEGALULIGUESS

Crash log or error reporting?
I have been following an issue of a chat program on Github that seems to be the same crash and they seem to have a very hard time to find the reason. I don't know if it's the same issue but it's what seems to be the closest. https://github.com/Chatterino/chatterino2/issues/2774

Looking at https://github.com/Chatterino/chatterino2/pull/3071 it appears there's a fork at https://github.com/SevenTV/chatterino7 with 7TV, haven't used it myself so I don't know how that would go.
