The number of mentions indicates the total number of mentions that we've tracked plus the number of user suggested alternatives.
Stars - the number of stars that a project has on GitHub. Growth - month over month growth in stars.
Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.
For example, an activity of 9.0 indicates that a project is amongst the top 10% of the most actively developed projects that we are tracking.

minimal choc – another day, another zilpzalp spacing
The spacing is minimal while not cutting stuff off the switches. The caps are a scuffed 3d print of the Philadelphia Minimalists, but Pseudoku's design is so good they still feel great.

Chiffreish
I have 3d printed them from jlcpcb with mfj. Actually black mfj looks better. https://github.com/pseudoku/PseudoMakeMeKeyCapProfiles Also you can buy handmade ones from https://www.asymplex.xyz/category/des

I made a DES keycap set =D
Sorry but what exactly did you made here? I would asume you took the DES keycaps files from Pseudoku and get them printed somewhere?
- Where to buy Chicago Steno keycaps (or do I really need them anyways?)
- Magnetic mounted Charybdis Nano
- I've just released the files of my narfkb

Choc keycaps that are shorter than MBKs? Or maybe a smart way to modify MBK keycaps?
Pseudoku has a wip profile [Philadelphia minimalist)[https://github.com/pseudoku/PseudoMakeMeKeyCapProfiles] which is minimum x/y spacing for choc switches. You may be able to mod the scad file to create min x /normal y on these or perhaps Chicago steno profile from the same repo

Zazu: Unibody with extra features
The Keycaps are DES from https://www.asymplex.xyz/product/des-alpha-sets They are also open source here: https://github.com/pseudoku/PseudoMakeMeKeyCapProfiles My favourite keycap profile. The ordered version feels amazing. The ones in the picture are 3D printed in MJF natural grey

Are ergo boards allowed here? This is the Fulcrum keyboard, it's a 20-key ergo-mech with horizontal 5-way switches for added thumb functionality
- Key caps are XDA, except thumb keys which are custom designs that I 3d printed for max comfort (my models are on the github, but I think they were originally remixed from [here](https://github.com/pseudoku/PseudoMakeMeKeyCapProfiles))

When your thumb hurts from using an angled key for layers (any keycap ideas?)
Convex DES keys are pretty nice - you can print your own from Pesu's github files https://github.com/pseudoku/PseudoMakeMeKeyCapProfiles (resin prints will be the nicest outcome, keep in mind the stems will get brittle over time as they cure and you may end up breaking them if you remove them frequently)

Split keeb pros: you can prototype quickly, one side at a time
I'll inset M2 nuts using a soldering iron and the screw it in. I also saw an interesting mounting solution on this project, might steal the idea: https://github.com/victorlucachi/void_ergo

What is the cheapest split ergo with a decent thumb cluster ?
Cheapest would be a 3D printed hand wire keyboard. The only expensive part would be the switches and keycaps. The rest would be in the range of Pennie’s to a few dollars. For an ergo, you can look at the V0ID ergo which is designed to be printed and hand wired. You can then use any controller (the cheapest would be a Arduino Pro Micro clone off AliExpress. Yes, it will take time and work to make it but it will be the cheapest thing you can make. You can even look for used mechanical keyboards to get the switches and keycaps from if you want, or look on AliExpress for them.

Designed and built my first setup! Full Github in comments! Help me get it into QMK :)
Hey Everyone! I recently designed and built this keyboard after wanting an ergo mech keyboard and wanting to use the WorkLouder keycaps! I really wanted to make something that would be easy for anyone to replicate so I spent a lot of time focusing on the GitHub page so you can have all the resources available if you want to build one yourself! I would absolutely love to get this board in the official QMK repo so that I can upload the VIA keymap. This would allow anyone who builds this to be able to pop the keyboard in and have VIA load the config automatically. If you have some spare time, I would love some reviews on my pull request here (QMK encourages anyone, even if you aren’t a official contributor to review pull requests) This build was heavily inspired by the Void Ergo S keyboard which was my starting point. I also learn a lot about wiring from Joe Scotto, so thanks so much!

Handwired 3D printed VOID Ergo S build
No, this is Victor's project: https://github.com/victorlucachi/void_ergo
- This is the weirdest keyboard I have ever built

Handwired Board, how to solder TRS?
Found a handwired split board that was interesting, but seems to not be getting updates (Void Ergo by victorlucachi) and wanted to try it out, I Just had two questions:
What are some alternatives?
