Stars - the number of stars that a project has on GitHub. Growth - month over month growth in stars.
Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.
For example, an activity of 9.0 indicates that a project is amongst the top 10% of the most actively developed projects that we are tracking.

Using MATLAB with Python - a new live task
Here is the Github repo to get all the code you need. It only runs on MATLAB R2022a or later and Python 3.x. If you don't have R2022a or later, you can run this from MATLAB Online using the link "Open in MATLAB Online" in the read me file.

CT Projection Simulation
This topic is called as Digital Radiographic Reconstruction. I have done this using pytorch3d using ray marching renderer. Also consider using another library called TIGRE by CERN.

Transforming conventional radiology into computerized tomography with ImageJ
If it's fan beam, you can principally shear the image to correct for the fan, but if the equipment is cone beam you'll probably want something with an FDK algorithm. This might mean going outside ImageJ into Python or MATLAB, as with TIGRE or the CCPi core imaging library. There are lots of other examples too.
